Current Projects At Buenaventura Current Projects include: In 2003: - Fence Property Line (southern side) - Water Tank and Water/Irrigation System (Draw water from mountain spring) - Cut fallen trees into boards for construction of platforms, ranchitos, etc. - Cut/burn 1 Hectar for farming - Plant in March for harvest in June - Plant fruit trees and long-term trees along property perimeter - Plant beans in November, for harvest in Jan. 2004 - Build 1 wood platform/ranchito on the open patch of land on first mountain ridge In 2004: - Tractor/Bulldoze a public access road along the southern edge and up west ridge to connect with current trail that leads to the Granados farm - Build trails up north ridge and into Buenaventura Ecological Reserve - Plant in March for Harvest in June - Build wood platforms, bridges, and railings in Buenaventura Ecological Reserve - Build a shed/nursery for organic farming project - Build the first villa (to be used initially as the main house) In 2005: - Build 4 villas - Build a stable, corral and chicken coup - Begin the construction of the main house (2 story, 4000 square foot structure) In 2006: - Build staff quarters - Completion of the main house by May - Open for business in November with 5 villas and 2 rooms within the house In 2007: - Build 5 additional villas <<< back to Buenaventura Home Photos by Tico Guide Travel © 2002 - 2003 Buenaventura Productions, All Rights Reserved.
